The arms are those of Sutton impaling Sutton quartering Manners, for Robert Nassau Sutton Esq. (1776-1833) and his wife Mary Georgina (1789-1846), daughter of John Manners-Sutton of Kelham, co. Nottingham, whom he married in 1812. Robert Sutton served with the 7th Fusiliers was aide-de-camp to Sir R. Abercrombie in Egypt in 1801.
