Struck from a piece of silver plate with lion passant and crowned leopard's head hallmarks clearly visible at edge of obverse; (Hird 261 (this coin); Jessop group IV; Brooker 1226 (obverse) and reverse dies as 1223-4; N. 2641; S. 3145, poorly struck and with a score mark at upper right edge of obverse, about fine to very fine.
