A William IV Antique English Silver Wine Cooler
Description
The arms are those of Grant of Dalvey, probably for Sir Alexander Cray Grant, 8th Baronet (1782-1854), who was a British politician and plantation owner in the West Indies. He was a Member of Parliament for Tregony 1812-1818, Lostwithiel 1818-1826, Aldborough 1826-1830, Westbury 1830-1831 and Cambridge 1840 and again 1841-1843.<br /><br />
