A fine set of silver strawberry dishes, of somewhat unusual oval form. (Most are round.)<br /><br />
Michael Clayton defines strawberry dishes thus: "This a convenient name and now generally accepted serves to describe a whole family of circular or occasionally oval shallow dessert dishes with fluted upcurved sides flat bottoms and escalloped rims."<br /><br />
The arms are those of Magrath.<br /><br />
